This morning Owen mentioned the name of a family friend. I told him that we were going to see her for Thanksgiving. He repeated excitedly, "Halloween!"
I replied back, "no, for Thanksgiving, when we eat turkey,"
"Turrrrkeee," he repeated.
"Yeah," I responded, "and we say that we are thankful for our family, and our friends, and wearing underwear (tying in the recent potty training)."
"And ice cream," Owen added with a grin!

- I am married to the most wonderful husband. He cooks dinner every night and makes sure I am taken care of so I can take care of our kids! I am the Mommy of a very active little boy, who cracks me up everyday with a new phrase he comes up with. He has quite the imagination! I another active little boy, who is the king of equal rights. He makes sure he gets to do or have everything his brother does or has. Unlike his brother he loves to sleep and is a good eater too. I am also the mother of a beautiful baby girl, her personality has yet to be presented to us, but mostly she only cries when her tummy is upset. I have a feeling she is going to be the house princess! I teach fifth grade in Las Vegas, Nevada. Every day I go to work is a new adventure. The culture here is certainly not what I grew up with in the the thumb of Michigan.
