Owen and I baked cookies this afternoon....one batch anyway! It sure is a lot of work when you are trying to do the rolling/cutting, decorating, and baking by yourself, especially, when you have a little helper who really really wants to do everything!
Growing up we had an assembly line for baking cookies; my mom did the rolling/cutting, I decorated, and my Grandma baked. We would dedicate an entire day to this. I am tuckered out after only one batch!!:)
While rolling and cutting the dough, Owen was deciding what shapes to make. My particular favorite was his interpretation of the angel cookie cutter, he lifted it up and said, "this one mommy, the princess with butterfly wings. She flying."

- I am married to the most wonderful husband. He cooks dinner every night and makes sure I am taken care of so I can take care of our kids! I am the Mommy of a very active little boy, who cracks me up everyday with a new phrase he comes up with. He has quite the imagination! I another active little boy, who is the king of equal rights. He makes sure he gets to do or have everything his brother does or has. Unlike his brother he loves to sleep and is a good eater too. I am also the mother of a beautiful baby girl, her personality has yet to be presented to us, but mostly she only cries when her tummy is upset. I have a feeling she is going to be the house princess! I teach fifth grade in Las Vegas, Nevada. Every day I go to work is a new adventure. The culture here is certainly not what I grew up with in the the thumb of Michigan.
